Assessment at SVIS

At Snower Valley International School (SVIS), assessment is an ongoing process designed to measure not only intellectual growth but also creative skills and behavioural attributes, encouraging students to strive for their best.

Our assessment framework is divided into three primary areas: Diagnostic, Formative, and Summative. Weekly cycle tests and application-based formative assessments provide insight into each student’s progress. These assessments, complemented by counselling sessions, help students address and overcome learning challenges effectively.

To further support learning, non-graded, in-class activities are also incorporated, offering students a low-stress way to address areas needing improvement.

We maintain open communication with parents, regularly updating them on their child’s progress. Parent-Teacher Meetings serve as an invaluable platform for collaboration, where we discuss the learning journey, address concerns, and build shared goals for the future success of each student.
