SYLLABUS & CURRICULUM
At Snower Valley International School (SVIS), we follow the CBSE syllabus, with English as the primary medium of instruction. Hindi is taught as a second language, while Sanskrit is introduced as a third language option from Grades 6 to 8, enabling our students to develop a deeper understanding of cultural and linguistic diversity.
To monitor each student’s academic journey, SVIS maintains a comprehensive, cumulative record of progress. Monthly and periodic tests are conducted to gauge ongoing development and understanding. Results from these assessments are compiled and made easily accessible to students, parents, and teachers through our school app and ERP system, fostering transparency and engagement in the learning process.
For term-end evaluations, progress reports are issued, reflecting each student’s achievements. These reports, along with the term examination answer sheets, are shared with parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings, offering insights into their child’s growth. For classes 1 to 8, assessments are based on the Continuous Comprehensive Assessment (CCA) model, adhering to the guidelines set by the Department of Education.
